Chelsea confirm fifth pre-season fixture in USA against Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund

Chelsea have confirmed the final match of their pre-season tour of the USA and will face Borussia Dortmund in Chicago. The game will be the Blues' fifth game of the East Coast trip and will take place on August 2nd at Soldier Field.

The club's schedule in America sees them play Wrexham, Brighton, Newcastle United, Fulham and Borussia Dortmund across five different cities. They will take in stadiums in Chapel Hill, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Landover and Chicago.

The games against Premier League sides form part of the Premier League summer series, while games against Wrexham and Dortmund punctuate the trip with the match against the team owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney coming first on July 19th.
