Chelsea have made the decision to add Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez and Joao Felix to their Champions League squad for the knockout stages. The decision means that fellow January signings Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, David Datro Fofana and Noni Madueke have missed out.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been removed from the squad to accommodate the three new names. The choice was made extremely tough for Chelsea who already had 24 of the allotted 25-man squad filled out before making eight new signings, seven of which are available to play for the rest of the season.
Jorginho moving to Arsenal meant that one more player also had to miss out in order to accomodate the three new signings. Given the level of spending and business done it was a tough choice for Potter to make.
