There will be no Graham Potter in the dugout when Liverpool take on Chelsea this evening.
We've been accustomed to seeing Chelsea getting rid of managers like there is no tomorrow in recent years, but the appointment of Potter was supposed to mark a new direction of committing to a long-term project. That they have got rid of him after a matter of months just looks so amateur - they've become a laughing stock.
Chelsea sacked Thomas Tuchel, who was a very good manager, spent over £20million to get Potter out of his contract at Brighton and now he's gone. They brought a load of players to the club, who will naturally take time to gel, and this is the route they've now gone? Talk about being spoiled.

We only need half of the money Chelsea have spent under Todd Boehly to get our team into shape, without the need to offer players seven-and-a-half-year contracts to get around FFP rules. They are just an unbelievable club.
I remember playing at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea with Oxford United in 1986. We beat them 4-1 away and there were only 16,000 fans there. Where they have gone since then due to money, they have been totally and utterly spoiled and the way they treat managers sums them up. It makes them look silly, to say the least, and the fans must be thinking ‘What on earth is going on here?’
I don’t think Boehly and his associates know what football is all about. They want instant success and football doesn't work like that. We didn’t have instant success with FSG, they held tight and nurtured it their own way. We want to achieve success, but only by doing things the right way.
We just have to hope FSG back Klopp this summer as he deserves to have another squad rebuild. He has been fantastic for our club and everyone loves him. Even the best managers have stutters: Alex Ferguson was one game away from getting the sack at Manchester United, as was Howard Kendall at Everton. They both went on to make unbelievable teams.
I’m not saying Jurgen is going to get sacked, but he has to be given the opportunity to turn things around by being backed in the transfer market.
