Harold Varner III, Paul Casey tied for lead at 2024 LIV Golf Las Vegas at Las Vegas Country Club

The countdown to Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers is on but first, it’s the LIV Golf Las Vegas event setting the state in Sin City.

It’s the second event of LIV’s 2024 season.

A week after finishing last, Harold Varner III is tied for the lead with Paul Casey after the first day at LIV Golf Las Vegas. The duo shot matching 63s at Las Vegas Country Club on Thursday.

Varner was 14 over after three days at Mayakoba last week but is 7 under after 18 holes this time out.

Two shots back are Jason Kokrak, Bubba Watson, Thomas Pieters Matthew Wolff.

The 54-hole, no-cut event is set for Thursday to Saturday.
