Which? has revealed the cheapest supermarket in the UK as the cost of living crisis continues to worsen.
The consumer watchdog investigated the prices of 49 popular shopping products every day throughout August and took the average cost of a shopping basket at each supermarket across the month.
Budget giant Aldi came out on top, with a basket costing on average £76.24. Following at second place was rival Lidl, where a basket of shopping cost on average £77.90.
