The October holidays is just round the corner and some may be regretting not booking a getaway.
During school holidays, it is normal for flight prices to spike but there are still some destinations you can get to under £100.
Using Skyskanner.net and Google Flights, using a hack popular on TikTok, we tried to find cheap flights for the October break, which runs from October 17-25 in Edinburgh.

TikTok has quickly become a platform to show off money-saving hacks. Jazz who goes under the handle LifeofJazz covers all things food and travel on the video app and has been sharing ways people can save money on their holidays.
In a video she explains: "I'm going to show you how to find cheap flights. Go to Google flights, type in your departure airport. Where to - you're going to leave blank.
"Next you're going to go to the flexible dates option, type in whichever month, whether it's a weekend, one week, two weeks, whatever.
"Go to 'filters' now. Put in non-stop only, flights only, and put the price down to £50. Now you're going to see all the flights under £50 in June."
She then commented: "Google flights > Explore Tab > Flex Dates/ Specific Dates", to break the process down.
By using this technique, Edinburgh Live found three destinations for under £100 for the October holidays using Google Flights. The dates selected was from Monday October 17- 20 and from Edinburgh Airport, you can fly to Dublin with Ryanair for £69 return, Belfast with Aer Lingus for £70 and Birmingham for £70.
Sadly, these trips aren't for the sunseekers with flights from Edinburgh to Barcelona during that week are closer £182 return.
Skyskanner.net also highlight that for those seeking a city break, you can jet off from Edinburgh to Gdansk, Poland for £69.
