Charles de Ketelaere reportedly travelled to Italy on Monday evening to complete his transfer to AC Milan. Belgian publication HLN claim that the Serie A champions will pay a fee of 35 million euros including bonuses for the Club Brugge forward.
The report adds that Club Brugge will receive a 12.5% sell-on clause with de Ketelaere poised to sign a five-year contract with an annual salary of 2.5 million euros.
He will also become the most expensive Belgian export in history, surpassing Canadian striker Jonathan David, who joined Lille from Gent in 2020 for 32 million euros.
Leeds offered £33.5m for de Ketelaere earlier in the window but the Belgian international has always been clear that his preference was to join AC Milan over Leeds.
