The Chargers had their second practice before Sunday’s matchup with the Chiefs on Thursday.
One day after being claimed, safety Jaylinn Hawkins was carted off the practice field. Hawkins’ status is unknown, but he was listed with an illness on the injury report.
Los Angeles opened the 21-day activation window for both wide receiver Jalen Guyton (knee) and defensive tackle Otito Ogbonnia (knee). They were in individual drills and were listed as limited.
After being listed as a non-participant in the estimated injury report, safety Alohi Gilman (heel) practiced in a limited capacity.
Edge defender Joey Bosa (toe) and safety Derwin James (ankle) were also limited participants.
Cornerback Deane Leonard (hamstring) and linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (groin) did not practice.
