Chappell Roan, has just sent the internet into chaos mode with some seriously cryptic Instagram posts. And you better believe the fans (including me) are losing their collective minds trying to decipher what it all means.
From a new album to political endorsements, here are all the theories about Chappell’s post so far:
What are the cryptic Chappell Roan Instagram posts?
On Friday, October 25th Chappell dropped a bombshell on her Instagram that sent fans into a frenzy. The star posted a series of Polaroid snaps featuring herself decked out in her own merch, with the caption “This is a clue. Just let that sink in.” Girl, I’ve been sunk!
Each polaroid had a single word written on them, spelling out “She Gets The Job Done”. This revelation has left fans buzzing with questions and theories as to what this could all mean!

Political Reference?
Some fans suggested that “She Gets the Job Done” could reference Kamala Harris, speculating that the merch Chappell was wearing might support a specific cause.
“’She gets the job done” is a nod to Kamala. Could be another clue that all photos have her merch. Maybe a portion of her merch sales will go towards a specific cause. I know she does ticket giveaway entries for charitable activism, etc… so this would not surprise me,” said one X user.
Given Chappell’s vocal disappointment in both of this years U.S. election delegates, it would definitely be surprising to see her throw out a clear endorsement.
“There are so many things that I would want to change. So I don’t feel pressured to endorse someone. There’s problems on both sides,” she told The Guardian in September.
A Shania Twain Inspired Single
Another theory making the rounds is that this is a teaser to a new single that will supposedly channel some serious Shania Twain vibes.
“I think it’s the name of her first single. She said it’s Shania Twain-esque and comes out in January,” said an eager fan on X.
The good news is that this theory might actually have some legs to it. During a soundcheck for a show in Berlin, Chappell shared with fans some hints about what her new music will sound like.
“I have a country song that I love. I think I’ll release a country song next, probably, just ‘cause I’m like, it’s time. And you’ll like it, I promise you’ll like it. It’s like Shania Twain country,” she said.
Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess Deluxe Album
Probably the most common theory out there is that Chappell’s Instagram post is a teaser for a deluxe version of her debut album The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess. A girl can only dream!!
Some have speculated about potential features on the deluxe version. Could we see some unreleased tracks or remixes? Fans are eager to see what extra goodies Mother might have in store for us!
New Album Anticipation
And let’s not forget those who are convinced that an entirely new album is on the horizon. With all the buzz around her recent posts and it seems like Chappell is gearing up to unveil something big — and I need it now!
Dan Nigro — who co-wrote and produced Chappell’s debut album — recently spoke to the New York Times and revealed that they’ve completed five tracks for her sophomore effort. This includes a “fun, up-tempo country song”, along with “a couple of several ballads” and “a mid-tempo rock” track.
Dan said that, “It’s a new version of Chappell”. And I’m here for it!
Chappell’s rise to fame hasn’t exactly been all glitter and rainbows. In a recent chat, she got real about some heavy stuff she’s been dealing with, like being diagnosed with severe depression.
She talked about battling brain fog and having “a very lacklustre point of view” sometimes, as she struggles to keep up with her rapidly rising fame.
Chappell has also opened up about some seriously unsettling experiences with stalking and harassment from fans. With some fans worried that these experiences would dissuade her from continuing her journey in music, it’s nice to see her teasing new things about “the project” (it’s what she refers her music career as).
Anywho, I’ll be sat waiting to eat up anything Mother feeds us at this point. But, all fingers will be crossed for new music!
