The BBC turns 100 today, and its rival broadcaster Channel 4 couldn't resist sending a cheeky birthday message.
Many found Channel 4's birthday jibe hilarious, as it pointed out that despite a century passing, some things are remarkably similar in the UK.
The Channel 4 official Twitter account posted: "[celebration emoji] Happy Birthday @BBC on your 100th birthday! When you were founded we had a King, no one knew if they could afford to put their heating on and we'd just lived through a global pandemic. Times really do change!"
The tweet has racked up more than 54,000 likes and 500 quote Tweets.
Sharing the Tweet, one person said: "Magnificent! Ch4 ahead and up to times yet again :)".
Another wrote: "Channel 4 always slays." A third person said: "@Channel4 delivering All of the Spice!!!" Another simply said: "Incredible".
To mark 100 years of the broadcaster, Strictly Come Dancing will be holding a BBC themed episode.
This Saturday, dancers will be moving and grooving to the likes of the Casualty theme song as well as the Grange Hill theme song.
Confirming the exciting news on Twitter, Strictly's official page wrote yesterday: "This Saturday we will celebrate #BBC100 with routines inspired by some iconic @BBC programming.
"We can't wait to see our couples, Dave Arch and his band bring these BBC bangers to the #Strictly dance floor! Let's do it."
Molly Rainford and her professional dance partner Carlos Gu will be showing off their moves to the theme from Grange Hill.
Nikita Kuzmin and Ellie Simmonds will take over the dance floor with a Paso Doble to Montagues and Capulets, celebrating The Apprentice.
Fleur East and Vito Coppola are jiving to Waterloo by ABBA in order to celebrate hit competition Eurovision.
Helen Skelton and Gorka Márquez are all about the Charleston to Blue Peter's theme tune while Jayde Adams and Karen Hauer are also taking on the Charleston to The Ballad of Barry and Freda (Let's Do It) by Victoria Wood, celebrating BBC Comedy.
Kym Marsh and Graziano Di Prima are Quickstepping to Ballroom Blitz by Sweet, celebrating Strictly.
Meanwhile, Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał are taking on the same style of dance to On Top of the World by Imagine.
James Bye and Amy Dowden are doing the Foxtrot to the EastEnders theme tune and Tony Adams and Katya Jones are Cha Cha Cha-ing to Grandstand Theme Tune, celebrating BBC Sport.

Lastly, Johannes Radebe and Ellie Taylor are doing the Tango to the Casualty theme tune.
It comes after Matt Goss was eliminated from the show during the third week of the competition.
To celebrate 100 years, a new 50p coin has been released by the Royal Mint.
The reverse side of the coin features the image of a broadcast mast emerging from the Earth, along with the words “100 years of our BBC” in the centre.
