Jorgie Porter has took to social media to show off her blossoming baby bump as she nears her due date. The Hollyoaks star is expecting her first child with her fiancé Ollie Piotrowski.
Last November, Jorgie, known for playing Teresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, revealed that she had suffered a tragic miscarriage with quadruplets. Then in June, she shared news of 'hopeful beginnings' as she posted an adorable Instagram video showing their hands and their pet Doberman's paws pulling away to reveal a baby scan.
Jorgie and Ollie are now preparing to welcome their new arrival and on Monday, the mum-to-be showed off her bare baby bump on as she sat in bed while lamenting having to drink pregnancy-friendly coffee. The actress, from Eccles, appeared unimpressed as she held on to her cup while being propped up by pillows.
Jorgie appeared in the snap with no make-up and her grey t-shirt rolled up to showcase her bump as she chilled out on the huge bed. "Your face when they pass you a decaf," she joked in the caption to her hundred of thousands of followers.
The 34-year-old then continued by typing: "I mean seriously decaf coffee doesn’t hit the spot does it. What one thing did you miss eating or drinking whilst pregnant?"
The post was soon met with plenty of comments from those wanting to share what they missed during their pregnancy. And there were also plenty of compliments for the soap star. @emily_w_x said: "Patè! You look lovely." @mikejgall commented: "You look amazing my darling." @stargirl241091 wrote: "Pregnancy suits you."
Jorgie also shared on her Instagram Story how she was starting her birthing plan. She shared a video of a notebook with 'Birth Plan' written at the top with a blank page ready for some notes surrounded by a variety of drinks as thinking about giving birth can be thirsty work.
But it appears the mum-to-be did take a break from planning to celebrate her anniversary with Ollie. Sharing a clip of him in the garden fresh from a sweaty workout, Jorgie penned; "Happy two year anniversary to this hot stuff @olliepiotrowski." She has since taken to her main Instagram page to share gushing tributes.
Posting a selfie of the pair together, grinning for the camera, Jorgie said: "Happy anniversary @olliepiotrowski Two years of being in love with you and 8 years of knowing u exist." She then shared a video featuring a montage of images of them together and added; "I love you so much !!! I couldn’t imagine my life without you.."
The couple, who celebrated their engagement in February at Morley's Hall, Astley, found love in 2020. They shared the exciting news that they were engaged in December. Sharing a selfie with her new fiance, the owner of Transpire Clothing, and showing off her glistening engagement ring, captioning it: "OMG." Olliepopped the question after she was sent on a treasure hunt of 12 photo clues documenting their love story, each captioned with a handwritten memory and a final clue that led her to a lakeside chalet.
Despite a Haribo ring stuck to one of the pictures, Porter insisted that it leading to a proposal never entered her head. She said the proposal was the "silver lining" of 2021.
The announcement came a few weeks after the star revealed their heartbreaking loss. In August last year, she and Ollie were heartbroken to find out at the 14-week scan there was no sign of life in any of the embryo sacs. The actress bravely reflected on their loss on her podcast Loose Lips.
