Channel 4 Gogglebox viewers 'in stitches' over F1 comparison to singers Nicki Minaj and Cardi B

The UK sat down to watch the nation's favourite Friday night telly tonight (April 29).

Tonight features shows such as Romeo and Duet, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Britain's Got Talent, Bridgerton, and Piers Morgan Uncensored - and the Goggleboxers and viewers at home didn't hold back on their thoughts.

The episode follows last week where viewers took to Twitter - and Ofcom - to complain about a certain clip showing a woman and a duck.

The disturbing clip resulted in the C4 show being hit with more than 100 official complaints via Ofcom after people at home were left 'traumatised' by the shocking scenes.

But while people at home - and Lee - were laughing at Jenny and her missing sunglasses lens this week, others were laughing at Gogglebox star George Baggs after he compared the rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen to famous singers Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

This isn't the first time viewers have loved the 19-year-old's comments after he admitted he didn't know where butter came from saying: "I thought butter was butter" as he tried to explain to the family he thought butter came out of cows after they were milked, not realising butter was created from milk.

He added: “It thought the milk came out and the butter came after the milk.”

Taking to Twitter one wrote: "‘It’s Red Bull and Mercedes’ ‘So it’s like Nicki Minaj and Cardi B?’ I mean that’s a good comparison for someone who doesn’t know F1!"

Another said: "Nicki Minaj vs Cardi B. Now I get F1 thanks, George."

A third tweeted: "#Gogglebox is so funny this week. It's just a game!"
