Gogglebox star Jenny Newby is recovering in hospital after a health scare left her requiring an operation.
Her best friend Lee Riley, who she appears on the Channel 4 show alongside every week, confirmed the news while at the BAFTAs.
On Sunday night, the show won the BAFTA award for Best Reality and Constructed Factual show for the second time.

Some of the cast members poured onto the stage to accept the award including Marcus Luther and Mica Ven as well as creator Stephen Lambert.
The main acceptance speech was given by Lee , who fans know best for his observations alongside Jenny in their caravan in Hull.
But fans who tuned into the BAFTAs were left worried as Jenny was nowhere to be seen on Sunday night.
Speaking to the Daily Star on the red carpet, Lee revealed that his best friend "isn't very well" and needed to head into hospital for an operation.
He said: "She is not very well, she is having an operation, a mini one, but she is recovering well though.
"She was invited but the appointment was in BAFTA week.
"You can't turn down an NHS operation down can you? But she is doing well."
The duo were also missing from Friday night's episode - which caused even more concern from viewers.
Meanwhile, Lee's partner Steve penned a touching tribute to his reality show boyfriend after the BAFTA win.
He wrote on social media: "I am literally the proudest man in northern Cyprus right now a massive congratulations to Channel 4 and studio Lambert and the cast of Gogglebox on tonight’s well deserved BAFTA win.
"And to the love of my life who I am so proud of accepting the award for the best show on TV see you soon in the sunshine love you to the moon and back."
