The Premier League fixtures may have already been announced but EFL clubs will have had to wait another week to see their full fixture lists confirmed for the 2023/24 season.
Recent Premier League trio Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton will be aiming for an immediate return to the top-flight, while Coventry City will wish to respond positively after their play-off final defeat to Luton Town. They will be joined by promoted sides Plymouth Argyle, Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.
In League One, Derby Country, Barnsley and Bolton are considered to be among the favourites for promotion. Meanwhile, Wrexham and Notts County will be looking to make a statement in League Two after their high-profile promotion battle in the National League.
