Director Chad Stahelski's highly anticipated Highlander reboot is officially in the works, with Lionsgate signing a new deal with the renowned filmmaker. Stahelski, known for his work on the John Wick franchise, will not only helm the Highlander reboot but also oversee the future of both franchises.

Lionsgate Motion Picture Group's Chair, Joe Drake, and Chair of the MPG, Adam Fogelson, expressed their excitement for the collaboration and praised Stahelski's creative prowess. The statement highlighted Stahelski's integral role in shaping the world of John Wick and acknowledged his vision as a true visionary. With this deal, Stahelski will guide and strategize the future of these franchises, alongside Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee of Thunder Road.
