CFB World Baffled by Dabo Swinney’s Comments About Clemson’s Offense After Duke Loss

Dabo Swinney and Clemson had a disappointing start to their season, mustering up just seven points in their loss against Duke on Monday night.

Despite their inability to get across the goal line, Swinney indicated that he “loved” what he saw from the Tigers’ offense, with the exception of a few crucial mistakes.

“If we do what we did offensively for the rest of the year, we won’t lose another game. It’s just that simple,” said Swinney, via Matt Connolly of On3.

While Clemson only had seven points, they did generate over 400 yards of total offense. Swinney mentioned after the game that it was the first time in program history they’d lost while putting up such yardage.

Despite that, the college football world was left dumbfounded by the coach’s comments, in which he praised his offense. His latest remarks generated some strong reactions from fans and media members across social media.
