Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been with the Boston Celtics for their entire careers. They have enjoyed significant success for the majority of their tenure with the franchise. However, this season will undoubtedly be their most memorable, as they helped lead the team to its first championship in 16 years.
During the opening ceremony of the Celtics championship parade, Tatum and Brown discussed what it was like to bring a championship to Boston and how it felt to complete a goal they’ve both been working toward since being drafted by Danny Ainge in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
The Boston Globe posted Tatum and Brown’s full pre-ceremony interview to their YouTube page, allowing fans who weren’t in attendance to hear from their favorite team’s two-star players after they both adjusted their games to help Boston get over the hump.
