Celtic transfer target Robin Hack opens door for January move

CELTIC target Robin Hack has opened the door for a January move to Parkhead after admitting he would be willing to listen to offers for him.

The Arminia Bielefeld striker was linked with a transfer to the Hoops in the summer, with Swiss side FC Basel also reportedly interested in the 24-year-old.

Hack opted to stay in Germany and has been a huge success at the Bundesliga II club this season scoring nine goals in 19 games and contributing with six assists too. He previously played for Nurnberg and Hoffenheim.

That's led to further speculation in his homeland that the former Germany Under 21s forward will be leaving the club, although he still has two-and-a-half years left of his contract.

Hack said: "Basically, I'm feeling extremely good at the moment and I am enjoying playing with my club.

"Honestly,  I don't want to leave yet, there's no reason for that at all.

"But if there was an option that would suit all sides, I would think about it.

"Nevertheless: It's been fun in Bielefeld lately.

"Everyone wants to get the most out of their career and of course I want that too.

"I want to play in a top league. That can either happen at Arminia Bielefeld or another club.

"In the summer, there were one or two opportunities abroad, so we will see what happens in January."

Meanwhile, Sead Haksabanovic has hailed the Celtic fans for their support in Australia.

The Hoops lost their opening game in Sydney and manager Postecoglou admitted that the performance was well off the pace expected.

Haksabanovic told the media: “Of course we were disappointed. We want to win every game, whether it’s a friendly, in the league or the Champions League. We’ve come a long way but unfortunately we didn’t show our best side.

"It’s a long journey and the times are different but we don’t like to make excuses. It’s not hard to sleep right. We should have shown more, so we were not happy.

"Everywhere we go we have a massive fanbase. They showed again – they are f*****g brilliant.

“I play for a great club with amazing fans. And once again they have shown that. I want to give them some more.”
