Celtic player rejects contract offer as future remains unclear after 'honest discussions'

Celtic Kerr McInroy Airdrie Ayr

Kerr McInroy is looking for a new club after the former Airdrie star rejected a move to Ayr United following time on loan at Somerset Park from Celtic.

The midfielder enjoyed a strong 2021/22 season, first with the Diamonds at League One level, scoring four goals and three assists.

Despite Ian Murray - who is now manager at Championship club Raith Rovers - wanting to extend his loan until May, the Celtic academy product opted for second tier side Ayr.
