Celtic player ratings v Motherwell as Kyogo makes persistence count and Hatate shines in cup stroll

Celtic booked a Premier Sports Cup semi-final spot with a convincing 4-0 quarter-final win against Motherwell.

The Hoops had a huge opening in the early exchanges when Kyogo Furuhashi inexplicably fired wide from close range off a Reo Hatate cross, and he missed another opportunity soon after. This one was just as painful as it cracked the bar from 25 yards out and bounced away from the goal line.

Stuart McKinstry should have made him pay with his second Motherwell goals in as many games but he didn't take a touch and blasted well over the bar. Eventually dominance from Ange Postecoglou's team counted with Liel Abada notching a brace, Reo Hatate using dancing feet to score a brilliant solo goal and Kyogo finishing things off. Here is how we rated the Celtic players in North Lanarkshire.
