Celtic-linked winger Cole Campbell has completed a £5.1m transfer exit from Dortmund.
The 20-year-old American has moved to newly promoted Bundesliga side Elversberg on a four-year contract.
Celtic had been linked as possible suitors for the winger this summer, but Campbell has now decided his future lies in Germany.
Sporting director Christian Weber admitted he was thrilled to see Elversberg land Campbell after a lengthy transfer pursuit.
Elversberg confirmed: "SV Elversberg has further strengthened its attack for the upcoming Bundesliga season: Cole Campbell, who was most recently on loan at TSG Hoffenheim, is transferring from Borussia Dortmund to the Kaiserlinde.
"The 20-year-old attacking player has signed a four-year contract with SVE until the summer of 2030."

"We've been pursuing him for quite some time and are delighted that he's chosen us,” said Weber.
Campbell commented: “The discussions with the management were very open from the start and have continued to develop positively.

A Dortmund post on social media read: "Cole Campbell is leaving Borussia Dortmund and joining SV Elversberg.
"Good luck on your future path, Cole!"
