Scott Brown was delighted with his Fleetwood Town side as he roared 'I'll take that all season long' as they won the Lancashire Derby.
The Celtic hero watched on as Carlos Mendes Gomes grabbed the only goal of the game against his former club to hand the Cod Army the bragging rights and extend their unbeaten run to six games. It was a performance that the former Hoops skipper was delight with hailing the match as a 'great watch'.
His side are now up into 11th in the English League One standings and while the promotion play-off spots are a fair distance away - the gap at the other end has increased once again as Fleetwood look increasingly likely to maintain their third tier status as they sit comfortably in mid-table with an 11 point cushion over the relegation places.

It was a third one-nil win in four outings - the other finishing goalless. Brown and Co have found a way to win and keep the back door shut and go into their FA Cup fifth round clash at Championship high-flyers Burnley full of confidence next time out midweek.
Speaking to the Fleetwood official website, the Celtic legend said: “I’ll take that all season long. The first half was a great watch, we had composure, there was no pressure on the ball, and we had that bit of quality in the first half with the ball in.
“They were winning a lot of second balls, but it was just one ball down the right, and we managed to keep a hold of it.”
He continued: “Second half we showed some composure on the ball which we badly needed. We kept a clean sheet again which is really pleasing. I think the little bit of quality we put on, helped us a little bit. We managed to switch the play a little bit more.
“We used Jayden [Stockley] a lot with his composure on the ball. For us, we didn’t want the wingbacks sitting too deep. It’s a hard one for Brendan [Wiredu] today in that position.
“I wanted that pressure higher up the park and the subs definitely helped - it’s the lads’ togetherness that impresses me the most.”
