Celtic handed surprise Josip Juranovic transfer advice by KFC as fast food giants talk up value after Brazil showing

Celtic defender Josip Juranovic has earned rave reviews after his impressive performance for Croatia as they saw off Brazil - including in a bizarre post from KFC.

It was a dramatic quarter-final clash in Qatar as Brazil looked to be within touching distance of the World Cup semi-final when Neymar netted in extra-time, however Bruno Petkovic levelled the game before Croatia continued their impressive run with victory in the penalty shoot-out. Juranovic earned plaudits for his performance which saw the full-back keep tabs on Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr and Rodygo during the 120 minute clash.

The defender has been linked with a move away from the Scottish Premiership with contract talks with Celtic stalling, while Atletico Madrid were among a number of clubs named to have scouted the 27-year-old during the game. However, the Parkhead powerbrokers may hold out for big money with his value skyrocketing after the impressive showing against the Samba Boys.

And fast food giants KFC agree - telling Celtic to ramp up the valuation ahead of the January window. Using a snap of rapper Fat Joe and one of his infamous outbursts their UK Twitter posted "Celtic to offers for Juranović after the World Cup" accompanied by the rapper's photograph captioned "Yesterday's price.... is not today's price."
