A young Celtic fan has passed away suddenly, with his heartbroken mum asking for fellow football supporters to get behind a one-minute applause to honour his memory during the Old Firm.
Leon Brown, 14, from Cumbernauld died on Thursday August 25, leaving his mum Lauryn Keating devastated. Taking to social media, she shared the tragic news, with tributes flooding in for the Our Ladies High School pupil, the Daily Record reports.
Leon was described as a "kind, thoughtful and loved wee lad" by friends and family.
