Tonight is the culmination of nearly two weeks filled with mayhem, harsh nominations, and absurd tasks on Celebrity Big Brother 2024.
Actor Colson Smith from Coronation Street, former This Morning presenter Fern Britton, reality TV star David Potts, former X Factor judge Louis Walsh, and Strictly Come Dancing pro Nikita Kuzmin are the housemates still standing in the competition.
Before our eyes are glued on the final on ITV tonight (22 March) from 9pm, here’s a run down of the best moments and quotes from this year’s season.
Ekin-Su’s nomination
Ekin-Su CülcüloÄlu was good friends with Marisha Wallace on the show until the West End star nominated her to leave the show.
Marisha said at the time: "I know if I get to the final, I can’t beat you. I know that if you get to the final with me, you will win the public vote. I know that if we go head-to-head, you have a huge following, you played these games before you know how to win and if I want to win this, if I ever had the chance, I wouldn’t have the chance against you."
The nomination led to a fallout between the stars with Ekin-Su saying: “I knew this was going to happen, this judging me because I went on a f***ing show before. You’ve been close with me this whole time so you’ve been fake with me this whole time.”
"I am here for a good time, not a long time, but a good time!"
Sharon Osbourne only stayed in the house for a week because the she wanted to go home to her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, who is suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
In the launch episode, the celebrity ‘lodger’ said: "I am here for a good time, not a long time, but a good time!".
If they advance to the final, celebrities often agree to stay in the Celebrity Big Brother house for up to three weeks, unless they are ousted within that period.
The lodger role hasn’t mean Osbourne is a dull guest, in fact quite the opposite.
“Love Island’s a free holiday”
Ekin-Su and Zeze Millz’s disagreement drew a lot of attention on social media after Zeze referred to Ekin-Su’s experience on Love Island as "a free holiday”.
"It wasn't really for me," Ekin-Su replied adding that the series is more difficult than the final edit lets on.
Zeze grudgingly conceded that the show might not have given the full situation but sounded certain of her perspective.
Bradley Riches axed
Bradley was the seventh star to be voted out of Big Brother but it was his way of finding out that was shocking.
TV host AJ Odudu broke the news to the actor as he waited to meet up with a friend or relative.
She said: “Surprised to see me? As you can see neither a friend nor family member is here for you. That is because the public have been voting.
“I can now reveal that the seventh housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house is you.”
Louis Walsh and Jedward feud
Louis and Jedward, whose true names are John and Edward Grimes, rekindled their rivalry earlier this month.
After being asked what working with Jedward was like, Louis said: “They were vile but they were great for the show. I got five million quid for them.”The duo responded on social media saying: "Louis Walsh is a cold-hearted b*****d who didn’t even send us flowers when our mom died."
The twins added: "Louis Walsh b****ed and talked about us to our best friend Tara Reid and then we fired him!”.
Accidental colliding
Fern Britton had to receive medical attention after a 'clash' between Nikita Kuzmin during a challenge.
The teams were challenged with protecting a bunch of balloons while also aiming to burst the other team’s one using a pin. Nikita, who was on the rival team, accidentally clashed with Fern, causing her to fall and hit her head on a chair.
The game was immediately stopped as Nikita carried Fern to the Diary Room, where she appeared to be in pain and was holding her head.
Soon after, Big Brother informed the housemates that she was okay.
Awkwardness continues
Tensions between Nikita and Fern have continued to rise, as the pair shared more awkward exchanges.
Viewers have also speculated that Nikita “dislikes” the former This Morning presenter after it was revealed that the Strictly Come Dancing pro had voted for her at every nomination.
The topic of ageing led to another tense moment as Fern told Nikita off for assuming she was “old”.
As housemates played a game on the sofas, Fern poured Nikita a drink while saying, “You and I get on alright when we’re playing games. Can I tell you? How old are you now?”
As the dancer said that he was 26, Fern proceeded to offer some unfiltered advice: “When you’re 66, you’ll have exactly the same brain which is why you have to understand that I’ve still got a 26-year-old brain.”
Fern also said that Nikita had insulted her by assuming that she was unaware that stripes were in style: “When you said that to me the other day, you were very sweet, ‘I like your stripy top, stripes are in fashion Fern’, bless you. You were passing me a compliment but also saying ‘actually they’re in fashion’ as if it was a surprise to me. It wasn’t a surprise.”
A blow at Bob Geldof
Louis had aimed his sarcastic remarks at yet another member of the entertainment industry this time expressing his dislike for Bob Geldof.
The Boomtown Rats singer was mentioned by Coronation Street actor Colson Smith in response to a question from Marisha about who created a song they were talking about. Before identifying Prince as the genuine author, Louis made the contemptuous sound “Pfft”.
Picking up on the odd tone, Zeze asked Louis if he disliked Bob, to which he replied: “Well, I think he’s full of s***.”
First rule break
After Lauren Simon and Walsh were discovered talking about nominations in the first rule violation of the season, Simon apologised to her fellow housemates.
The Real Housewives actress confided in Louis after finding out she had received the most votes, six, while they were trying to determine who else might have voted for her.
Big Brother announced: “It is against the rules for Housemates to discuss their nominations with each other and this includes speculating or guessing on who has nominated whom or who might nominate whom in the future.
"This morning, a rule was broken by Louis and Lauren. Louis and Lauren, wrap up warm. Please make your way into the garden until further notice.”
After that, the two were seen receiving their punishment by sitting in the garden's “wheelie bin of shame”.
Confrontation between Lauren Simon and Zeze Millz
While trying to figure out who nominated her, Lauren was confident Zeze wanted her out.
Zeze then confronted Lauren in later scenes after the reality TV star claimed that Zeze "hates" her.
Zeze said: “I’m not bothered. I just don’t like the word hate. It’s a strong word. We’ve never had a conversation where you could feel like I hate you.”
Trying to explain herself, Lauren replied: “I’m going to tell you the conversation. When I was making the fruit salad, you took the oranges and did it your way. You went over to the table in front of my face and said, ‘This isn’t good enough for Lauren’. It wasn’t banter. It was rude to me.”
To which Zeze said: “Come and talk to me then. Don’t use the word hate because you know it’s not hate.”
Both contestants have now been evicted from the house.
