CCTV images released after Playstation, jewellery and money stolen in Gateshead

Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a Playstation, jewellery and money were stolen from a Gateshead house.

It was reported that between 6pm on May 2 and 5.50pm on Tuesday, May 3, offenders entered a property on Saltwell Road and stole a number of items, including a PlayStation, jewellery and a quantity of cash.

The offenders then left the area and it is believed they were later seen on Fontwell Drive and Cartmel Grove.

An investigation has been launched and enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.

On Wednesday, officers released the images of two men who were in the area at the time of the incident and could have information which assists their enquiries.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "The men, anyone who knows them, or anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101 or using the Tell us Something page on our website quoting crime reference 051581M/22."
