Police have issued CCTV pictures of a man they want to speak to after a Volkswagen van, bikes and a computer were stolen in a burglary in Failsworth.

A property on Rose Hey Lane was burgled between midnight and 8am on September 30, police said. A Volkswagen Transporter was stolen, as well as two bikes and a number of electric items including a computer.

Police said the burglary happened 'during a spike in related offences in the area'. No arrests have been made.

Detectives have now issued CCTV pictures of a man they want to speak to about the incident. They believe he 'may be able to help with the investigation'.

Detective Sergeant Matthew Adshead of Oldham’s CID said: "We’ve conducted a number of enquiries around this burglary and although no arrests have been made we are aware it occurred during a spike in related offences in the Failsworth area. We’re now appealing to members of the community if they have any further detail they can share that may help our ongoing investigation.

"This can be done by ringing the Oldham Neighbourhood Crime team directly on 0161 856 4521, 101 quoting incident 660 of 30/09/22 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
