The Ohio State Buckeyes are clear favorites heading into Saturday’s showdown with the No. 3-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions.
While if Penn State were truly the better, being at home would make it a favorite against a side ranked lower. That said, the sportsbooks clearly don’t think the higher-ranked team is the better one here, but they do think it’ll be about a field goal spread.
For Ohio State, this could be a make-or-break game, and it should bring that energy to Beaver Stadium in just a few days. Let’s just say starting quarterback Will Howard is fired up for it.
With a slew of highly talented players on both sides of the ball, one CBS Sports analyst is expected not just a cover but a double-digit victory for the Buckeyes.

Rick Neuheisel appeared “shocked” he was the only one taking the Buckeyes, and on top of taking Ohio State, he said the No. 4-ranked program has a top-ten offensive and defense.
The Buckeyes are coming off a close call with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, but everyone knows the stakes this game is going to have and the high-profile nature.
Expect a sharp Ohio State squad to take the field Saturday and for a big-time road win, just as Neuheisel predicts.
