CBS showed a graphic about the Chiefs’ drops immediately before Travis Kelce dropped a pass

The struggles with the Chiefs’ receivers have been well documented this season. When they’re not lining up offsides on potential go-ahead touchdowns, they’re dropping passes at an astonishingly high rate.

But even CBS couldn’t have anticipated a more perfectly timed graphic during Monday’s Christmas Day game between the Chiefs and Raiders.

The network aired an animation about the Chiefs’ league-leading drops, and just seconds later, Travis Kelce dropped a pass.

They couldn’t have scripted that one any better. They had to know it was coming.

Of course, Kelce should have went for that pass with two hands instead of the one-handed attempt. But that’s just how this season has been going for the Chiefs offense.
