CBS has announced early renewals for two of its popular shows, 'Ghosts' and 'Fire Country,' for the 2024-25 season. Both series have been confirmed for a third season, aligning with CBS's strategy to maintain its position as the top-rated broadcast network in primetime.
'Ghosts,' which premiered on October 7, 2021, is a comedy based on the British sitcom of the same name. The show follows Samantha and Jay Arondekar, a married couple from New York who inherit a country house only to discover that it is haunted by ghosts tied to the property. With the departure of 'Young Sheldon' after seven seasons, 'Ghosts' is being considered as a potential anchor for the Thursday 8 p.m. ET time slot in the upcoming season.
