Cornerback Antonio Hamilton will not be back with the Arizona Cardinals for a fourth season. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons. The signing was made official by the team on Thursday. It was first reported by ESPN’s Michael Rothstein.
Hamilton is 31 years old and spent the last three seasons with the Cardinals. He appeared in 41 games, starting 16 of them, collecting 122 tackles and two interceptions.
The Cardinals did have interest in bringing him back for a fourth season.
Hamilton is only the fourth Cardinals free agent to sign elsewhere. Defensive lineman Leki Fotu signed with the Jets, receiver Marquise Brown landed with the Chiefs and linebacker Zeke Turner signed with the 49ers.
