The search to find the country’s favourite hymn is underway by the Catholic Church.
The project has been launched by Bishop Denis Nulty of Kildare and Leighlin, who is inviting people of all ages throughout the country to make known their choice.
The Diocese includes Ratheniska, Co Laois, where the three-day Ploughing Championships will begin on September 20.
