Fire crews rescued a cat from an unusual space after he was found trapped.
Spider is a three-year-old black and white cat that had been missing from his home for two and a half weeks. But he was soon spotted trapped in the wheel arch of a car just days before Christmas.
On December 20, firefighters from Runcorn, working with the RSPCA, managed to free Spider who could be seen stuck between the hinges of the car door. Fire crews managed to remove the car's wheel as Spider was pulled from the tight space before being placed safely in a cage to be checked over, CheshireLive reports.
