A cat has been injured after it was found by members of the public hanging from a fence in a snare in Newry.
Northern Ireland animal welfare charity, the USPCA, are appealing for information after the cat was found in the Barcroft Park area on Saturday, August 13.
Two members of the public found the cat hanging from a fence with a snare around its abdomen and it was immediatly taken to the USPCA veterinary team who had to use bolt cutters to remove the wire snare and treat the animal's injuries.
