Cash-strapped sculpture festival finds its white knight

The sun is shining on a loved coastal art exhibition visited by 500,000 people annually after an insurance company and individual donors covered a gaping funding hole.

Sculpture by the Sea had warned this week its annual show - a transformation of Sydney's Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk into an open-air art exhibition - would not go ahead without raising $200,000 in two weeks.
