Carryover Strength in the Brazilian Real Supports Coffee Prices

Dec arabica coffee (KCZ23) this morning is up +1.70 (+1.15%), and Nov ICE robusta coffee (RMX23) is up +18 (+0.77%).

Coffee prices this morning are moderately higher, with arabica climbing to a 1-week high.  Wednesday's rally in the  Brazilian real (^USDBRL) to a 1-1/2 week high against the dollar keeps coffee prices firm.  A stronger real discourages export selling from Brazil's coffee producers.  Trading activity in coffee today is below average, with Brazil closed for a holiday.
