Carl Starfelt insists he has 'no thoughts' except for Celtic as he issued a response to English Premier League transfer links.
The Swedish defender, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, has been garnering interest from clubs down south ahead of the summer window. Starfelt has exponentially improved in Glasgow after a relatively rocky start upon sealing a £4million move from Rubin Kazan in 2021, aided much by the strength and consistency of partner Cameron Carter-Vickers.
The 27-year-old has now been fully integrated in to Ange Postecoglou's system, earning him more call ups for the national side with games against Belgium and Azerbaijan on the horizon. The big centre-half has been fielding questions about his future but remains clear in his focus.

On life at Celtic, he told Fotbollskanalen: “It’s fantastic. Of course, it is something special to win great titles and it is something you really strive for as a football player. To be able to be at a club where it is expected of you and where it means so much to so many people is also incredible and a great feeling.
“We dominate in matches and get a lot of the ball. Defending high, and having a lot of play as well, I have had to develop many, many areas. It’s a big club where you are expected to win so you really have to push yourself to develop all the time.”
When quizzed on his interest with English Premier League links, he added: “No, I like it very much as it is right now. My agent will take care of the rest and then if something comes up, we’ll deal with it then. But I have no thoughts right now except for Celtic.”
