In recent news, there have been a few incidents involving planes that have caught the attention of the public. One such incident occurred overnight, when a cargo flight experienced an engine malfunction midair, which forced it to return to Miami International Airport shortly after takeoff. Spectacular images of the incident are currently being analyzed.
Additionally, there was another incident involving an American Airlines plane carrying 53 passengers that skidded off a snowy runway in upstate New York. The incident took place as the plane was headed towards the terminal after arriving from Philadelphia. According to an American Airlines spokesperson, the incident was a result of the snowy airfield conditions. It is fortunate to note that no one on board was injured during this incident. The plane has been towed out of the snow and will remain out of service until the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) completes a full inspection.
