Erling Haaland has broken his silence after his late miss against Liverpool in the FA Community Shield last weekend and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has fired a warning to his critics.

The Reds beat their rivals 3-1 at the King Power stadium last Saturday and new signing Darwin Nunez was among the goals. Julian Alvarez scored City's only goal of the game but Haaland missed a glaring opportunity for a consolation goal late on.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker insists he will use it as motivation when the current champions take on West Ham on Sunday.
