Tuesday brought big news in the NFL. Perhaps the biggest news was the trade the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks agreed to, sending quarterback Russell Wilson to the Broncos. It affects the NFC West, the NFC and the AFC.
The Arizona Cardinals’ social media team took advantage of the agreed trade to do a little friendly trolling. ESPN analyst Mina Kimes, who incidentally attended high school in Gilbert Arizona, is huge Seahawks fan.
The Cardinals’ Twitter account checked in on Kimes with this tweet, clearly attempting to get a reaction.
.@minakimes you good?

Kimes snapped back on Twitter with a picture of Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray in an Oakland A’s uniform, asking the Cardinals the same question, perhaps referencing some of the drama there has been between the quarterback and team this offseason.

That led to Murray himself to chime in.
😂😂😂 stop it… https://t.co/sSCDtTV3Zy

He clearly got a kick out of it. Kimes responded to Murray saying she was clearly an “opp” or an opponent or enemy.
In the end, though, Murray is a Cardinal and Wilson is a Bronco. The Seahawks appear to be looking to make a full rebuild this coming season.
It will be tough for Seahawks fans like Kimes to watch.
