TE Geoff Swaim, LB Josh Woods placed on injured reserve
Swaim left the game on Sunday with a calf injury. His season is over. Woods did not have an injury announced during the game but also has his season end.
Woods had taken over the “green dot” to relay defensive play calls to the rest of the team when Kyzir White suffered a season-ending injury.
LB Tyreek Maddox-Williams signed to roster from practice squad
Maddox-Williams has been on the practice squad since the middle of September.
He spent last season with the Los Angeles Chargers on their practice squad after signing with them as an undrafted rookie out of Rutgers. The six-foot, 228-pound linebacker was with the Philadelphia Eagles in the preseason.
While at Rutgers, he played in 52 games and started 27 of them over five seasons. He finished his collegiate career with 206 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, nine passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
TE Travis Vokolek signed from Ravens' practice squad to active roster
To give the Cardinals four tight ends on the roster, the Cardinals added Vokelek.
He is an undrafted rookie who signed with the Ravens in May out of Nebraska.
Listed at 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, Vokelek has been on Baltimore’s practice squad all season.
He played collegiately for Rutgers from 2017-18 and Nebraska from 2020-2022. Between the two schools, he played in 45 games with 25 starts and caught 57 passes for 656 yards and four scores.
As a senior, he had 20 catches for 240 yards and two touchdowns as a team captain.
