The 2022/23 Carabao Cup is under and tonight Leeds United will soon find out who their first opponents will be in this season's competition.
Premier League sides are welcomed into the second round of the draw Last year, Leeds managed to comfortably see of Crewe Alexandra in the second round of the competition, before beating Fulham on penalties 6-5 at Craven Cottage. Their journey in the competition came to an end in the round of 16, losing 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates.

Here are a couple of key competition rules to be aware of, plus details of the draw for the next round:
No extra time:
If scores are level after 90 minutes, the tie will go straight to a penalty shoot-out. There will be no extra-time.
Substitutes:
Teams can name up to nine substitutes on the bench, and are allowed to use a maximum of five.
When is the second round draw?
The draw for the second round will take place on Wednesday (August 10), live on Sky Sports, following the end of the televised game between Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
It will be hosted by Sky's new Carabao Cup presenter Mark Chapman, with former Crystal Palace and Birmingham City striker Clinton Morrison and Sunderland hero Michael Gray selecting the ties.
The 13 Premier League clubs not involved in European competitions will enter at this stage, alongside Burnley and Watford from the Championship.
The draw remains regionalised at this point, so will again be split into southern and northern sections.
Second round ties are due to be played during the week beginning August 22.
