A vehicle has veered off the road at Cameron Park crashing into the front of a nearby home.
The Newcastle Herald understands emergency services are rushing to the scene on Portland Drive to attend to the crash, which is believed to have taken place about midday on Wednesday.
A NSW Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed nobody has been trapped or injured in the incident.
"We're working at the moment, as of 1.20pm, to make a safe entrace to the house so the owners can access the home," the spokesman said.
"There is substantial damage to the front of the house and firefighters are awaiting the arrival of police."
Two firetrucks and six firefighters are still at the scene.
NSW Police said there was no smoke or fluid coming from the damaged vehicle.
A video obtained by the Herald shows numerous onlookers standing nearby, where the crash appears to have knocked down and caused a significant crack in a pylon at the front of the home.
Large skid marks can be seen across the front lawn where a Toyota LandCruiser has mounted part of the front garden, knocking down the pylon close to the front door.
The Herald has contacted NSW Ambulance for comment.
