A driver has been reported for 'careless driving' in Fife after a car flipped onto its roof in a horror crash.
It is understood a red Volkswagen crashed into a parked vehicle on Broad Street in Cowdenbeath on Saturday afternoon.
Photos from the scene show the aftermath of the collision, with a red Volkswagen overturned in the road with its doors open.
The parked vehicle appears to have been shunted from the kerb onto the pavement.
Police closed the road at the time. They said it was "miraculous" that there were no injuries on Sunday morning.
Road Policing Scotland tweeted: "Fife Road Police were called to Broad Street, Cowdenbeath yesterday to this crash. For unknown reasons the red car struck a stationary car. Miraculously no serious injuries to the female driver who wasn't impaired in any way. Driver reported for Careless Driving."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 3.25pm on Saturday, 12 November, to a report of a car colliding with a parked vehicle. The road is currently blocked while recovery takes place.”
