Police are hunting the driver of a car which flipped into a field in Fife after a road smash.
Emergency services raced to the A909 Burntisland Road at around 2.10 pm on Tuesday, March 28, after receiving reports of a one-car crash.
But when cops arrived on the scene, the driver and any passengers had abandoned the motor and fled the scene.
The force have launched a probe to track them down. It is currently unknown if there were any injuries.
Pictures from the scene show a red car lying badly damaged on its side in the field, several metres from the roadside.
Debris from the motor is strewn across the grass, with the bonnet appearing mangled and the back window smashed.
Two people can be seen standing near the vehicle. One person appears to be leaning into the upturned car from the passenger's window.
