A man has been rushed to hospital after a car flipped on its side in Fife. Emergency services rushed to the B981 near Inverkeithing at around 3.55 pm on Monday, January 30, following reports that a car had crashed.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.
Police shut the route for a time in order to recover the vehicle. Images from the scene show the car lying stricken on its side near to the verge as debris covers the road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving one car on the B981 near Inverkeithing, around 3.55pm on Monday, 30 January, 2023. Emergency services attended and the male driver was taken to the Victoria Hospital for treatment.
“Recovery was arranged.”
