Cane Creek is launching a new generation of its highly desirable and sought-after titanium cranks. The all-new Electric Wings titanium crankset will join their iconic eeWings cranks and are designed specifically for the best electric mountain bikes, electric gravel bikes, and any other electric bike worthy of adorning these beauties.
Cane Creek says the Electric Wings are lightweight, stiff, extremely durable, and also come with the usual drool-worthy Cane Creeks looks.
The renowned brand from North Carolina, USA famed for producing some of the best mountain bike components that include the recently updated versions of its Air IL and Coil IL shocks, has been shaping the cycling industry for nearly three decades and now introduces its next offering - electric bike specific titanium cranks.
This next generation of Cane Creek cranks are 3D-printed using 6/4 titanium which is designed for a good balance of characteristics, including strength and fracture toughness. Used in aircraft frames and engine parts, the Electric Wings should be able to cope easily with the rigors of electric mountain biking.
Compatible with most of the best electric bike drive units using an ISIS motor spindle. The Cane Creek Electric Wings will fit Bosch/Yamaha, Brose, Fazua, TQ, Bafang, and Specialized motors, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of e-MTB models.
Cane Creek says the Electric Wings could be one of the best upgrade options for e-MTB performance, offering the weight-saving benefits of carbon cranks, with the added durability of often heavy aluminum cranks.
They do however come at a cost, with an eye-watering price tag of $1,299 or £1,499. For more info, head to canecreek.com.
