You know that running gag in Kevin Smith’s Mallrats with one of those Magic Eye posters? And how when you finally see the sailboat it’s mind-blowing?
That’s how we should all feel when we see some of the hidden stuff in the sports logos below. I know that the first time I saw a certain hidden letter within a now-defunct NHL team’s logo, my mind was BLOWN. And if you don’t know about some of these, hopefully you’ll have the same reaction.
So, check it out: Some sports logos with hidden images that you won’t be able to unsee once you find them:

Milwaukee Brewers
The all-time classic hidden image in a sports logo …
That’s an “m” and a “b” combined to make a glove, for Milwaukee Brewers of course!
2
Hartford Whalers
Two things: It’s a whale shape. But also, there’s that “H” in the middle with the “W” below it that not a lot of people saw when they were an NHL team.
3
Dallas Mavericks
Never noticed the “M” in the middle of the horse’s forehead before until I researched this post!
4
Atlanta Falcons
I turned the logo so you can see it: The Falcons logo is a big falcon-shaped “F.” You’re welcome.
5
Philadelphia Eagles
There’s an “E” in the neck of that Eagle with the three gray and white feathers. Do you see it? Here:

Montreal Expos
This one confused me … until now! That’s a script-looking red “e” for Expos, a “b” on the end for baseball and the whole logo looks like an “m” for Montreal. Got it?
7
Washington Capitals
Ever notice the top of the Capitol building in the bottom of the bird? Now you have.
8
New York Islanders
Notice how the “I” in Islanders points to that little part of the outline of Long Island. That was the exact location of where the Islanders used to play, in the Nassau Coliseum. That might need an update.
9
NFL
The eight stars are the eight different divisions.
10
Minnesota Twins
The “WIN” in Twins is underlined, because, you know, the Twins want to win.
11
Portland Trail Blazers
Those five lines on either side are the five-on-five of a game of basketball. We covered that in 2019!
12
Phoenix Suns
I was today years old when I found this out:
Did you ever notice that if you flip a Phoenix Suns jersey upside down, the logo still says ‘Suns’? pic.twitter.com/yxxER2eV1e

Houston Rockets
You see it? There’s a rocket taking off in the “R.”
