A supposed vet on TikTok has given a warning to people over what it really means when they say they’re going to “put down” a pet. While it may sound ridiculous it comes from an actual experience the vet claims to have had in which a dog owner didn’t understand what the euphemism meant.
“I’m a vet and I just want to warn you guys that when we put a dog down we’re unaliving it.” Aran states at the start of his video. He then goes on to describe a scenario that recently happened in which a woman came in with her dog. Unfortunately the best option was to put the pet down which Aran claims was discussed with the woman and she consented.
