Can the Boston Celtics return from their West Coast swing with a winning record?

The Boston Celtics are headed on the road for their final West Coast swing of the 2021-22 NBA season, and they face a tough slate of games after a home loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

The mini-gantlet begins against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night and is followed by a slight reprieve, the Sacramento Kings, before a dalliance with the Denver Nuggets. The road trip wraps up with a team that always seems to challenge the Celtics more than it should, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Can the Celtics come out of the trip with a better than .500 record? Normally, a pair of losses in a four-game stretch matter little, but with the end of the season looming and seeding perhaps critical to Boston’s postseason success, every loss could have an effect that lasts long after the final buzzer’s sounding.

Watch the clip embedded above to hear the opinions of the hosts of the CLNS Media podcast “The A-List” on the Celtics’ prospects out west as Gary Washburn, Kwani A. Lunis and A. Sherrod Blakely talk the stretch run.
